Habicons Selected for Milano Nail Spa at Texas Heritage Marketplace

Habicons has been officially selected by the Milano Nail Spa system to serve as the general contractor for its upcoming project at Texas Heritage Marketplace, one of the most significant new mixed-use developments in the Katy–Fulshear growth corridor.

This project marks another important milestone in the working relationship between Habicons and the Milano Nail Spa system. It also reflects Habicons’ growing role in commercial build-out projects that require strong design coordination, permitting knowledge, construction management, and reliable project delivery.

The new Milano Nail Spa project will encompass a floor area of over 7,000 square feet. According to the current plan, in addition to the main floor area, the facility will include a 1,000-square-foot mezzanine level. The salon is designed to feature 66 pedicure chairs, 4 shampoo-massage tables, and 30 manicure stations. The entire facility will be outfitted with high-end amenities and finishes—befitting the renowned, upscale nail and spa system that Milano represents.

Situated in a prime location within Texas Heritage Marketplace, the Milano Nail Spa project promises to introduce an exceptional new service offering to the entire shopping complex. Its size, design, and premium customer experience will make it an important lifestyle destination for residents, shoppers, and visitors in the area.

The project’s technical design phase has now been completed. The team is currently awaiting site handover to commence construction, with groundbreaking scheduled for this coming autumn. Once the space is turned over, Habicons will begin managing the construction process, including build-out coordination, MEP systems, interior finishes, equipment installation, inspections, and final turnover.

Texas Heritage Marketplace

Texas Heritage Marketplace is located at the southeast corner of I-10 and Texas Heritage Parkway in Katy, Texas. NewQuest lists the development as a retail, land, multifamily, medical, and mixed-use project, with spaces ranging from 1,000 to 22,000 square feet. Public reporting describes the overall project as a 165-acre, $400 million mixed-use development that will include approximately 750,000 square feet of retail space300,000 square feet for medical offices and self-storage, and 550 apartment units.
